Before having students complete the following worksheet and accompanying project, teachers should download and install Google Earth.


Step One:  Print out this page and put your name at the top.

Step Two:  Take a few minutes to play with Google Earth in order to become familiar with its features.  (Your teacher will tell you when time is up)

Step Three:  Your teacher will assign you a volcano to explore.  Use the zoom tool to zom  closer. 

Step Four.  When you have found a good angle, print a picture.

Step Five:  Click on the globe icon to access Google.  You may have to add "+ volcano" to the search bar.  Research to find information that will complete the following chart.
