 Pumpkin Seed Counting Project 2007 Mrs. Sherrie Wilson (MHES) and Mrs. Lewis (ITRT) took part in the Pumpkin Seed Counting Project hosted by Jennifer Wagner at Technospud Projects.com!! This project involved PreK - 3rd grade classes from the U.S.A. & Canada Each class created one CLASS ESTIMATE (on how many pumpkin seeds would be inside the pumpkin.) This number was recorded for future use. Students in our class estimated between 5 and 700 seeds. We cut open the pumpkin and counted ALL the seeds which are in it. We counted 423 seeds. The class submitted the Exact Count to the data collection board. To view the results of all participating classes, click here. We decorated our pumpkin to look like a clown. We had a lot of fun!
