How May I Help You?

    Research indicates that parents strongly desire for their children to learn 21st Century skills in school.  We are fortunate to have many 21st Century vehicles available to us in Amherst County.  Please schedule a time to meet with me to discuss plans and ideas of ways you can incorporate technology into your instruction.  Or if you already have brainstormed some ideas and just need an extra pair of hands to help as you carry out your lesson, please call on me.

If you have any suggestions, questions, comments or concerns, please email me and let me know.  My email address is mlewis@amherst.k12.va.us.

I am fortunate to work with such an innovative bunch of educators as you!

Below are some items from my online file cabinet that may be of use to you at the beginning of the year.  Let me know if there are other items that you need.

Printable Stickers
(Thanks Mark English)

Printable Games (Again, thanks to Mark! These will make great center activities.)

These were sent to me by Barbara Moody, Lynchburg City.  Another teacher asked for this at the beginning of the year and I thought others may want these as well.  Insert digital photos of your students to create unique writing projects.

We need each other. . .
In times of private pain,
of fear and stress;
We need each other. . .
To share our joys, our times
of happiness;

We need each other. . .
To hold on and be strong, and
encourage, when things are
going wrong;

We need each other. . .
To keep our faith and love,
and remind each other of all
the things we're dreaming of;
We need each other. . . now and
always.
