More Professional Developments

hi!

Return Home

Even though I am currently an instructional technology resource teacher, I still want to keep abreast of professional developments that have to do with educatioanl issues in general. Below are certificates and proof of professional development I have participated in which have nothing to do with technolgy or were earned before I became an instructional technology resource teacher.  Clicking the image will enlarge it.

This is a certificate I received from participating in a book study at AES.  I received 3 points for the talk.

This is the first slide from a mentor presentation I created.  The mentors did a staff development for the county administrators on April 11, 2006.  I earn 90 recertification credits for mentoring .  Below are two links that will provide more information on our mentoring program.

This is the transcript for two classes I recently took through Liberty University's online DLP (Distance Learning Program).  I have just completed School Finance and Theory of Educational Administration.  Each of these was a 3 credit class.

These certificates were earned for providing staff development on PowerPoint during the November 2005 ACPS Academic Share Fair

I participated in a Differentiation Study Group sponsored by Sweet Briar and ACPS.

This is the letter I received approving my transfer to the ITRT position.

This is the first certificate I received for being a participate in NTTI.  I later went on to become a NTTI master teacher.

This certificate was earned at the Best Practices Technology and Differentiation Conference in Charlottesville, VA.

I got this certificate the first year I became a Mentor Teacher.

My colleague and I presented at the 2006 Share Fair and earned 5 continuing credits.

I was also recognized as a differentiation coach for the school year 2006-2007.  In that capacity I work with veteren teachers as a mentor for differentiation.
